The 2016-17 All Weather Championships got under way on Thursday last week.
An eight race card at Lingfield Park saw an opening race win for Mittens trained by Sir Michael Stoute (13:30) and a Listed win for William Haggis’s impressive Muffri’ha (15:10).
But perhaps the performance of the day was the Listed win of Luca Cumani’s four year old filly Bess of Hardwick in the 32Red EBF Stallions River Eden Fillies’ Stakes (16:20).
The filly finished with a devastating burst of speed, clocking 40.5mph in the final furlong, the fastest furlong in the race, as illustrated on ATR’s recently launched Sectional Timing Results.
This new, free service gives At The Races visitors access to an array of Sectional Timing Tools powered by TPD’s Race Pace Data.
TPD will be streaming data from Lingfield Park, Newcastle, Southwell and Wolverhampton racecourses during the 2016-17 All Weather Championships.
